Academic research

Grace’s dedication to making concerts accessible to neurodiverse audiences is clearly demonstrated through her Sensory Concerts® project, which has attracted growing national recognition since its launch eight years ago. Driven by her passion, she has returned to academia to expand her research in this area and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The University of Sydney. In addition to her two master’s degrees in music, Grace holds a Master of Research from the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development. Her recent research, published in the Arts in Psychotherapy journal, has already garnered international attention in its first year.

Grace’s ongoing research advocates for a positive impact across the arts, allied health, and education sectors. Recently, her impressive multidisciplinary achievements led to her appointment as a Postgraduate Fellow at the Conservatorium.
